Empowering Women Through Connection: My Experience with We Free Women
The ladies who make the magic come alive
Last week, I had the honour of being invited to host a women’s circle at a retreat organised by We Free Women. This incredible movement is dedicated to creating safe, supportive spaces for women to explore, heal, and thrive, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have been part of their mission.
As you know, I am passionate about fostering understanding and empowerment during this stage of life. The women’s circle provided the perfect environment to do just that - offering a sanctuary where attendees could openly share their experiences, challenges, and wisdom about menopause. Together, we delved into topics that are often shrouded in silence, breaking barriers with heartfelt conversations and mutual support.
What struck me most was the sense of community and strength that filled the room. Each woman brought her unique perspective, and yet, there was a shared energy - a collective understanding that we were all part of something much larger than ourselves.
This experience reinforced my belief that menopause is not just a biological phase; it’s an opportunity for growth, self-discovery, and renewed vitality. By creating spaces for these important conversations, we can help normalise what has too often been stigmatised, giving women the tools and confidence to embrace this chapter of life with grace.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to We Free Women for their incredible work and for inviting me to be part of such a meaningful event. Their dedication to fostering healing and freedom for women is truly inspiring. The work they do is transformative - not only for individuals but for the broader community of women everywhere.
Here’s to more shared stories, supportive spaces, and the boundless strength of women.
If you would like to be a part of a women's circle, to share your experience and have a sense of community, reach out and let me know.
